About A. Luckes & Son Removals and Storage LTD
A. Luckes & Son Removals and Storage is a family-run removals business based in Swindon, established in 1996 by Sally and Alex Luckes. The business carries out house removals, flat removals, office relocations and nationwide moves from Swindon across the UK. Packing services include fragiles packing with industry-standard materials, full packing of entire house contents, and an unpacking service. Dismantling and reassembly of furniture is available, and the business supplies moving boxes and packing materials.
The business covers Swindon and its suburbs including Wroughton, Wanborough, Highworth, Shrivenham, Broad Blunsdon, Cricklade and Royal Wootton Bassett, as well as Wiltshire towns such as Chippenham, Trowbridge, Marlborough, Malmesbury and Cirencester. Every move begins with a free survey to assess the property, vehicles needed and moving plan. The team provides carpet protectors, wardrobe cartons, sofa and mattress protectors, and TV protectors. The business also offers storage through M4 Self Store, providing containerised storage, self-storage units, archive storage and confidential archive shredding.
The business is run by Max Luckes, son of the founders, with his sister Maddie working as packing assistant. The team includes drivers, porters and office staff. A. Luckes & Son holds goods-in-transit and public liability insurance. For every house or office move completed, the business plants a tree in partnership with Just One Tree.
