About A1 Removals & Storage
A1 Removals & Storage is a family run removals company in Eastbourne, with more than 30 years of experience according to its site. It carries out large and small home and office removals across East and West Sussex, including Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill, Lewes, Burgess Hill, Brighton, Hove and the surrounding areas. International removals are also offered.
The movers are trained, uniformed and insured, and the site lists public liability and goods in transit insurance. Each move has a move manager as a single point of contact from quotation through to moving day. Flexible services listed are packing, storage, dismantling furniture, overseas removals and office relocations.
The home removals process has six steps. A free quotation comes first. The move manager then creates a moving plan based on location, access and the volume of items. Packing is offered as full or partial. On moving day the team protects flooring, furniture and doorways before loading the vehicle. Everything is unloaded into the correct rooms, and storage is available if required.
The site also gives moving tips, such as confirming the removal date early, preparing a list of fixtures, disconnecting kitchen appliances, reading meters and dismantling sheds and self assembly furniture.
