About AJ Watson
AJ Watson is a family-run man and van business based in Melton Mowbray, established in 2019. It operates locally in Leicester and Rutland and also nationwide. The business uses long-wheelbase vans, with each job attended by one man and one van.
Services include nationwide courier and local delivery, house and office removals, house and office clearance, and general man and van hire. The business assists with house moves, office moves, student moves, business drop-offs for trade fairs and festivals, band equipment transport to gigs, and eBay or auction item collection and delivery. Items are wrapped in blankets and strapped for safe transport. The business liaises directly with estate agents, key holders, auction houses and both parties in eBay transactions to arrange collections and deliveries. A cross-country service runs frequently between Newcastle and Cornwall.
AJ Watson covers Leicester, Rutland and nationwide. Work is charged on an hourly basis or a day rate. The business is available seven days a week, including evenings and bank holidays. Items are covered by goods in transit insurance up to £10,000. Driver and van can be hired to assist with lifting and moving during house and business moves. The business can attend a property to remove contents and dispose of items accordingly. General enquiries are welcomed, and the business aims to be flexible with availability and geography.
