About AR Group Wakefield
AR Group is a family-run group of companies in Wakefield with two main businesses, AR Removals and AR Waste Removal. It began as a local removals company, and AR Waste was formed in 2020. The group is led by Managing Director Abdul Kayoom. The removals are operated by AR Removals Ltd and the waste services by AR Waste Removal Ltd, as separate legal entities.
The removals business serves the whole of West Yorkshire, with a customer base in the Wakefield area that includes Ossett, Dewsbury, Horbury, Lofthouse, Batley, Barnsley, Castleford, Normanton and Pontefract. Services include business moves and office moves, packing, storage and cleaning alongside a move.
The group states that it provides protection for goods in transit of a minimum of £20,000 for both goods in transit and public liability insurance. It is also a licensed waste carrier and has received accreditation from industry organisations.
Local knowledge of West Yorkshire is part of the service. Vans are marked with the logos of the group, and the team wears branded clothing. A free quote is available by phone for the removals packages. The group describes itself as local and says its brand identity helps customers recognise the vans and team on the day of a move.
