About Ballards Removals and Storage
Ballards Removals and Storage is a removals and storage business serving Retford and the wider area of Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and the East Midlands. It moves households and businesses locally, across the UK and into Europe, and international moves are also offered.
The removals team is trained in house at a BAR accredited training centre, which has rooms set up to copy household interiors and the furniture found in them. The office, warehouse and storage teams and the drivers make up the rest of the staff. The people named on the team page include Matthew Ballard as Group Managing Director, Joe Ballard as Managing Director, Lizz Ballard as Removals and Storage Coordinator, Abigail Pogson as Transport Manager, James Leach as Operations Manager and Julian Leach as Warehouse Manager.
Three packages are offered, Bronze for self packing, Silver where materials are supplied and Gold with full packing. A Handyman Service can be added to any of them. The handyman team dismantles and reassembles beds, bedroom furniture, wardrobes, sheds, trampolines, climbing frames and other large furniture, and can disconnect some appliances when agreed in advance. Each item is priced individually, and the list of items is agreed during a free pre-move survey. Storage is part of the service as well.
