About Benns of Halifax

Benns of Halifax is a removals and storage company established in 1876, now part of Darvills and Benns. The business carries out house removals and commercial removals for businesses relocating offices. It also provides secure storage in containers and units, with document storage, furniture storage and home storage listed as separate services. Packing materials are available to order.

The business covers Bradford, Halifax, Ilkley and the wider West Yorkshire area. A survey is carried out before each move to identify access or parking issues. The team moves furniture and possessions of all sizes, from small bungalows to five-bed houses and larger offices. Back-up vehicles are available for jobs requiring extra capacity. Storage containers are accessible only to the customer, monitored by 24-hour CCTV, and customers can enter whenever they choose. Document retrieval is available on request.

Quotations are free. NHS and Blue Light discounts are available when the code WEB01 is quoted. The company has been established for over 130 years and serves both domestic and commercial customers throughout the region.
