About Bournes Moves - Aylesbury
Bournes Moves is a family-owned removals and storage business based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. It has traded since 1875 and is a member of the British Association of Removers. The Aylesbury branch was previously owned by the Robinson family as Robinsons of Aylesbury from 1909 before joining Bournes.
The business carries out house removals, packing, furniture disassembly and reassembly, and storage services across Buckinghamshire and nearby counties including Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Northamptonshire. Specialist handling is offered for pianos, fine art, antiques and large garden items. European and international removals are available. Packing materials such as boxes, bubble wrap and tape can be supplied or collected from the depot.
Moves begin with a pre-move survey by phone, video or in-home visit to understand the items being moved and plan the relocation. A free, fixed-price quote follows with all charges set out upfront. A dedicated move manager then guides the customer through preparation and move day. Removalists are uniformed, security vetted and trained at an in-house training school. Belongings are protected, loaded, transported and unloaded by the crew. Transit insurance options are available, along with late key and cancellation protection.
Bournes Moves covers Aylesbury, Wendover, Thame, Chesham, Amersham, Tring, Stoke Mandeville, Aston Clinton, Princes Risborough and surrounding areas. The business relocates over 3,000 families each year and is independently accredited.
