Britannia Bradshaw Removals & Storage

About Britannia Bradshaw Removals & Storage

Britannia Bradshaw Removals & Storage is a removals and storage business based in Irlam, Manchester. It carries out house removals, man and van moves, piano removals, international relocations, professional packing and secure container storage. The business also offers confidential document shredding and moving-home advice.

The firm covers Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Bolton, Bury, Trafford, Oldham, Rochdale, Wigan and Cheshire. Each project starts with a survey to assess access, volume, service level and timeline. A move specification is then built around those constraints, and crews are briefed with job-specific detail before move day. Packing is sequenced by risk and dependency, with high-fragility items packed first and cartons labelled for placement at destination. Fragile items such as artwork, mirrors, electronics and antiques receive reinforced materials and item-specific protection. Unpacking support is available on request.

Container storage operates from a secure, weatherproof warehouse in Irlam. Wooden containers are kept sealed and stored inside a managed facility, protecting belongings from damp and condensation. Access is controlled and arranged by the team during core business hours.

Britannia Bradshaw began in 1884 as John Bradshaw & Son removers in Stockport. The business is a member of the British Association of Removers and applies recognised standards across survey, handling and customer communication.
