About Britannia Cestrian
Britannia Cestrian is a family-run removals and storage business based in Chester. It has been trading since 1972 and carries out house removals, commercial relocations, packing, storage and international moves. The business is part of Britannia Movers International, a network of 49 independent removal companies across the UK and beyond.
The services listed are local house moves in Chester, Wirral and North Wales, commercial office relocations, secure self-storage, and international removals to Europe and further destinations. Jobs range from single-item moves to large domestic and corporate removals. Packing materials and specialist equipment are supplied for large or precious items. The business has its own fleet of 12 vehicles and access to 400 vehicles across the Britannia network.
Britannia Cestrian covers Chester, North and Mid Wales, the Wirral Peninsula, Shropshire and Herefordshire. Work begins with a free survey visit for larger moves, where a detailed move plan is created. A written quote follows, covering crew, vehicles, packing materials and storage if needed. On moving day, the trained crew wraps, loads and transports belongings, then places everything where the customer wants it.
The business holds BS EN 12522 accreditation for domestic removals and BS 8522 accreditation for commercial moves, both verified annually by an independent auditor. It is a member of the British Association of Removers and a Which? Trader. Insurance coverage is offered to protect belongings during the move.
