About Britannia Fleet Removals & Storage
Britannia Fleet Removals & Storage is a family-run removals and storage business based in Prescot. It carries out house removals, commercial removals, office moves and international relocations for customers across Liverpool, Merseyside and beyond. The business also offers secure self-storage units, packing materials and piano removals.
Britannia Fleet was established in 1972 and has been trading for over 50 years. It is owned and run by Mal Fleet, the Managing Director, with support from Mal Fleet Jr as Operations Director. The business operates its own fleet of 20+ vehicles and is part of Britannia Movers International, the UK's largest owner-operated removals network, which has 40+ UK locations and 400+ vehicles across the network.
The business covers Liverpool, Merseyside, Knowsley and Sefton, and also arranges moves across the UK, Europe and worldwide. Work starts with a phone call or online enquiry, followed by a free survey for larger homes and offices to establish what is involved. A written quote is then provided, covering crew, vehicles, packing materials and storage if needed. On moving day, the trained crew arrives with modern, fully equipped vehicles, wraps and loads belongings carefully, and places everything where customers want it.
Britannia Fleet Removals & Storage is a member of the British Association of Removers and holds accreditation with BS EN 12522 for furniture removals and BS 8522 for commercial moving services. The business holds insurance coverage to protect belongings during moves and is a member of Knowsley Chamber of Commerce. It offers self-storage through Simply Store, a countrywide mobile self-storage company.
