About Britannia Purvers International
Britannia Reeves is a family-run removals business based in Petersfield, Hampshire. It has been operating since 1897 and is now in its fourth generation of family ownership. The business carries out domestic removals for local, nationwide and international moves, and also handles commercial office relocations, archive storage and confidential document destruction.
Services include pre-move surveys, packing with materials supplied on site, storage in purpose-built warehouses, and pet transport. The business moves households and businesses throughout Hampshire and West Sussex, from Basingstoke to Guildford and Chichester. International removals are arranged through the Britannia Movers cooperative network, which operates weekly services to European destinations and provides shipping to every corner of the globe. Additional services include migrant banking, overseas vehicle financing and pension transfers through partner organisations.
Britannia Reeves is part of Britannia Movers International, a cooperative formed in 1981 to provide consolidated shipping services for family removal businesses. The cooperative is the largest of its kind in the UK and operates the largest network of depots compared to competitors. Staff receive background checks. The business holds a retail outlet selling packing materials and storage facilities are available while customers settle into new homes. The business is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm.
