About Britannia Sandersteads
Britannia Sandersteads is a family run removals and storage company based in Surrey. It moves households and offices across the UK, into Europe and overseas, and it holds belongings in its own secure storage at Godstone.
The company is run by the Almandras family and has been since 1972. It began as Sanderstead Removals, started by the family in Sanderstead, and it grew through personal service and word of mouth. It later joined the Britannia Movers International network, which the site describes as one of the largest removals networks in the UK, with 40 plus locations. The network lets the company move customers across the country using partner depots, and it can handle long distance moves. The site lists a 50th anniversary in business.
Storage is held at Godstone in a purpose built logistics complex with a container storage facility of over 1,000 containers and monitoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The business is still owned and operated by the family and still based at Godstone.
Britannia Sandersteads is a member of the British Association of Removers, the trade body for professional movers. The site also lists certification to BS EN 12522 for household furniture removals. Free video surveys can be booked.
