About Browns Removals and Storage Ltd
Browns Removals and Storage is a Belfast removals and storage business that has been helping move homes and businesses for over a century. James and Elizabeth Brown established the company in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1904 under the general trading name of James Brown & Sons. It started out with a horse and cart. The removals side grew through the twentieth century and traded as Browns Removals & Storage.
In 2003 Keith Acheson purchased the firm and expanded the business by amalgamating it with Tweedy Acheson Removals. The site describes the business as serving Belfast and Northern Ireland, and carrying out domestic, commercial and international moves.
Browns is a member of the British Association of Removers and works to its Code of Practice, which is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute. The site states that members are regularly inspected on staff, vehicles, premises and facilities.
Packing services cover homes and businesses across Belfast and Northern Ireland, in full or partial options. Customers can have fragile items such as glassware, artwork or electronics packed while they pack the rest. The business describes more than 120 years of helping people move and pack across Belfast and Northern Ireland. Materials include sturdy double-walled boxes and acid-free wrapping paper.
