About Clarks of Amersham
Clarks of Amersham is a family run removals and storage company based in Old Amersham, Buckinghamshire. Michael and Lorraine Clark set up the business over 30 years ago with a single 3.5t Luton van, and it has since grown to a fleet of 18 vehicles and a staff of over 50. The business is a member of BAR and holds BSEN 12511 certification, along with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO Environment Management System certification.
Storage is a large part of the work. The business has 30,000 sq ft of storage at its headquarters in Old Amersham and a further 20,000 sq ft at Hemel Hempstead. Its history includes an archive storage service, a warehouse pick and pack service, and a kitchen storage and delivery service.
Packing services are listed in three forms. The complete home pack service has a trained team visit at an agreed time and pack everything ready for loading. The china and glass pack service covers crockery, glass and other breakables, with packing materials supplied. The owner pack service supplies boxes and tape for customers who pack their own belongings. On arrival at the new home, belongings are placed in the rooms the customer has designated or marked.
The business works across Buckinghamshire and the wider area, and has a list of areas covered on its website. Clarks of Amersham describes its aim as treating every customer as part of its own family.
