About CWraight and Partners
CWraight and Partners is a family run removals business in Ashford, Kent, founded in 1947 by Cecil Wraight and now in its fourth generation. It is described as the oldest removals business in Ashford. Steve Christopher owns and directs the business, having worked alongside his father John and before then his grandfather Cecil. His wife Jane keeps the paperwork in order, and his son Rhys is co-director and Operations Manager.
The services are domestic removals, commercial removals for offices, and antique removals. Packing is offered as a full packing service or as a fragile only service. Storage facilities are listed, and the business serves the South East.
The firm has worked with the Canterbury Auction Galleries since they opened in 1991, and it packs and moves antiques for them on a weekly basis. The items moved include marble statues, four poster beds and grandfather clocks. The business has also moved artefacts for English Heritage. Free estimates are offered.
