Deal Light Transport

About Deal Light Transport

Deal Light Transport is a removals and transport business based in Deal, Kent, founded in 1988 by Nigel Erricker. The business carries out domestic removals, commercial office relocations, European moves, storage, packing, taxi truck services for single items, student and doctor moves, and courier deliveries. It has worked for local authorities, government agencies, charities, film and theatrical productions, and many other organisations.

The business covers moves across the UK and Europe, with regular trips to France, Spain, Holland, Croatia and Albania. Artwork, antiques, sculptures, pianos and heritage machinery are among the items safely delivered. On move day, the team arrives at the property, assesses the contents, and loads and transports them. Furniture is disassembled and reassembled as needed. Storage facilities are available with CCTV monitoring, and packing materials can be supplied or items packed on a dedicated day if required.

Deal Light Transport works with a network of transport and logistics contacts across Europe. Customers are asked to communicate special requirements early so the team can prepare. A survey visit is arranged to discuss needs and provide a quote. Taxi truck services are charged hourly for smaller moves or single-item collections such as auction purchases or appliance deliveries.
