Dibbens Removals & Storage

About Dibbens Removals & Storage

Dibbens Removals & Storage is a removals and storage business based in Ryde. It carries out house moves, flat moves and business relocations across the Isle of Wight and throughout the UK, including overseas shipments. The business has traded for over 39 years and employs full-time removal staff, with drivers having at least 10 years of removal experience.

The fleet consists of modern, custom-built Euro VI vehicles. Each vehicle is equipped with transit blankets, wardrobe cartons, quilted sofa and mattress covers, flat screen TV cases up to 85 inches, carpet protectors, sack trucks and tool kits. Packing services include a full house pack, kitchen pack, fragile pack for glass and china, or self-pack options with cartons and materials supplied by the business.

For overseas moves, Dibbens arranges door-to-door shipping using 20ft and 40ft sole use containers, groupage for smaller part loads, and air freight. Furniture is wrapped using specialist materials for safe transit over long distances.

Storage is provided in wooden containers held inside a protected warehouse in Ryde. Each container holds 250 cubic feet and has a unique identification number. The warehouse is monitored with intruder and fire alarms and 24-hour CCTV surveillance. Containers can be accessed by arrangement, and assisted unloading is available. Self-storage rental is also offered, with customers able to load and unload during office hours. Standard liability is included during transit and for storage in the warehouse.
