Direct Transport Removals & Storage

About Direct Transport Removals & Storage

Direct Transport Removals & Storage is a family-run removals business based in Redruth. It carries out domestic and commercial removals across Cornwall, the UK and Europe, handling full house moves, part loads and single items. Services include packing, storage, piano and artwork transport, and relocation for households and businesses.

The business offers three packing options: full packing where the team packs everything, part packing for valuables and fragile items only, and owner packing with boxes and materials supplied. Garment carriers are provided to prevent creasing, and quilted padded covers protect furniture on local, UK and European moves. Carpet protectors and mattress covers are used during all removals. Materials supplied include boxes in several sizes, tape, paper and wardrobe cartons.

Direct Transport covers Redruth and all parts of Cornwall, with part loads to London and surrounding areas, and arranges containerised storage. The business has traded for over 30 years. Work starts with a visit to assess requirements and answer questions, followed by a free quote. The team is fully trained and uniformed. Direct Transport is a member of the Road Haulage Association and holds goods in transit insurance alongside full public liability cover. A seven-day service is offered to both domestic and business clients.
