About Essex Removal Service & Co Ltd
Essex Removal Service & Co Ltd is a family-run removals business based in Romford, established in 1987. It carries out house moves, office relocations, specialist removals of pianos, fine art, antiques and high-value items, and international removals to Europe and worldwide. The business also offers packing services in four levels from full packing and unpacking to supply of materials only, secure storage with climate control, and export wrapping for overseas shipments.
The business covers Essex, London, Suffolk, Kent, Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties, with long-distance and nationwide moves available. Services include dismantling and reassembling furniture, and handling of fragile items such as glassware and collectables. Packing materials supplied are professional-grade boxes, adhesive tapes and anti-static bubble wrap. Containerised storage provides a secure, sealed environment for furniture and boxed items during moves and renovations. Archival storage offers organised, climate-controlled preservation for documents and records.
Essex Removal Service & Co Ltd has traded for over 38 years and is a member of the British Association of Removers. All staff are DBS checked. The business provides free insurance up to £100,000 on every job and free packing supplies. A free quotation is offered before any move. The team works with an in-house door-to-door service using purpose-built vehicles. Customers receive a five-step moving roadmap from initial estimate through to setup and satisfaction.
