About Evans International Ltd - Removals & Storage In Harrogate
Evans International Ltd is a removals business based in Ripon, headed by Managing Director Val Evans. The company carries out residential moves, commercial and office moves, and local removals around Harrogate and Ripon. It also provides removal services across the UK and internationally to Europe and beyond.
The services listed are packing, unpacking to surface level (removing all packaging and rubbish), furniture dismantling and reassembly, picture hanging, and specialist help for moves stemming from bereavement, illness, disability or vulnerability. An unpacking service removes items from packaging, allowing clients to organise and put away their belongings. A pre-move survey is carried out at the client's home to assess what needs moving, identify any challenges, and establish specific requirements. Initial home surveys can be conducted over Facetime or Skype for clients outside the Harrogate area, and evening visits are available.
The business covers Harrogate, Ripon, Wetherby, Knaresborough and across the UK and internationally. Val Evans is fully HGV1 qualified and is described as the only female boss of a removals company in the North of England. The company was formed by merging two existing removals companies and operates under a set of standards called 'The Evans Way'. Val is involved in day-to-day operations including loading boxes and advising clients on specialised removals.
