About G B Movers

GB Movers is a family-owned removal business based in Windsor. Established in 1969, it carries out house moves, flat moves and single-item removals across the UK and Europe, and also provides furniture hoist hire for lifting items up to 100 feet to windows, balconies and roof terraces. The business moves fine art, pianos, marble statues, chandeliers and other fragile or awkward items, and it also handles transport for film, television and design projects.

GB Movers offers packing and unpacking services using acid-free paper, bubble wrap, cushion wrap, furniture bags and paper blankets made to its own specification. Customers can choose to pack themselves with materials supplied by the business, or the packing team will pack the entire home or office contents before the move and unpack at the destination. The business holds secure storage facilities ranging from dedicated vaults to climate-controlled computer-operated units with 24-hour security and alarm systems.

The business covers all areas of mainland Britain and delivers to any destination worldwide. Its fleet includes trucks fitted with air suspension and padded interiors to protect belongings. A regular service runs to Europe and beyond, with scheduled removals to and from France. GB Movers provides free written quotations following a survey visit or through an online virtual quote facility where customers upload photos of items to be moved. The business has a single point of contact for each job to manage all details.
