About Galleon International
Galleon International is a removals and relocation business based in South Ockendon. It moves household goods and personal effects within the UK and overseas for private customers and corporate clients. The services listed are domestic removals, international removals, containerised storage and freight forwarding by air, road and sea. The business also arranges corporate relocations for employers moving employees.
Galleon International covers the UK and works globally, with overseas moves to destinations including the USA, Spain and Canada. The business was established in the 1980s and works with a network of international partners through G.A.I.N. (Galleon Approved International Network), which includes global relocation, shipping and haulage companies. Each move starts with a free video survey, and a quote follows. Packing materials and labour are provided, and the business handles the full door-to-door process from start to finish.
For corporate clients, a relocation coordinator is assigned as a single point of contact to oversee all aspects of the move. Customers can track progress through the MyMove portal, and weekly reports are provided to help with budgeting. The business holds FIDI accreditation, is accredited to ISO 9001 and BS8564, and is a member of the British Association of Overseas Removals (BAR) APG Scheme Trust, which provides a trust fund for movers.
