About Grays Storage & Removals Ltd
Grays Storage & Removals Ltd is a family-owned removals and storage business based in Hackney, established in 1977. It carries out household and commercial relocations, man and van services, packing, porterage and storage across London and the Home Counties. The business moves one-bedroom flats and large detached homes, and it also offers piano removal and specialised services.
The removals service runs seven days a week with early morning and late evening slots available. Packing is handled by the team, and packaging materials such as bubble wrap, removal boxes, tissue paper and tape dispensers are supplied. Porterage hire provides extra help for heavy lifting and furniture dismantling. The man and van service comes with two fully trained staff members and is charged at an hourly rate.
Storage uses containers held at a modern warehouse. The facility holds 1100 containers, each with a unique number that is digitally recorded. The premises have 24-hour on-site security, CCTV monitoring, and an 8-foot secure perimeter fence. Items are transported from their current location to the storage facility. Storage is available for both household and commercial needs.
Grays Storage & Removals is a member of the British Association of Removers and an approved Checkatrade trader. It holds public liability and goods in transit insurance. All staff are DBS checked and uniformed. The business operates from London and Essex sites with access to the M11, M25 and North Circular.
