Hartgrove Bros

About Hartgrove Bros

Hartgrove Bros is a local family firm in Redcar with over a hundred years of experience in the removal and storage business. The majority of the work comes from personal recommendation. Staff are trained in removals, packing and storage.

The firm provides office removals for businesses of all sizes, from small local firms to large multi-national corporations relocating nationwide. Commercial moves cover IT equipment such as office PCs, laptops, servers and printers, sensitive documents and records, and heavy items like safes. Small business customers range from independent retailers to nail salons and hairdressers. Corporate customers include marketing agencies and accountants, and the firm moves chairs and furniture for them. Removals for local authorities, council offices, the NHS and schools are carried out routinely.

Business storage is offered in secure premises for equipment, furniture and documents, for example during an office refurbishment. Packing and part packing are available, with boxes and packing supplies, or the team can box everything up. A survey can be booked.

Home removals begin with a visit from a relocation surveyor, who assesses the requirements and provides a quote. The firm moves customers in the Teesside area and further afield, with a head office in Redcar and enquiries taken for Middlesbrough. Full packing covers china, glass, books, utensils, clothes, gardenware and garage contents. Bubble wrap, mattress covers and portable wardrobes are supplied for self-packing. A storage warehouse is available.
