About Hillway

Hillway is a family-run removals business based in Herne Bay, established in 1981. It carries out house removals, packing services and storage across Kent and the rest of the UK. The business is now run by the second generation, with partners Roger and Sam De-Buriatte taking over in 2006 from Sam's father, the original founder.

The team consists of five removal staff. Roger oversees day-to-day operations and is involved with every removal. Trevor has been with the business for over seven years and runs smaller jobs. Michael joined four years ago, bringing experience from a Faversham removals firm. Phil arrived nearly two years ago after working for other removals companies. Danny is the newest team member, progressing through in-house training.

Hillway protects homes and furniture with padded furniture covers, waterproof floor and stair protection, and a padded cover for the front door. Belongings are covered by Goods In Transit, Public Liability and Storage Insurance, all included in the price. The business is Trading Standards Checked. Removals are carried out by uniformed staff who deliver personal service from start to finish.
