About Houghton Move Removals & Storage
Houghton Move Removals & Storage is a family-run removals business based in Bishop's Stortford. Established in 2018, it started as a man with a van and has grown to operate a small fleet of vehicles with a team. Alec, the director, worked for many years in removals before starting the business. The firm carries out house moves, flat moves and commercial removals across the country and locally, from Bishop's Stortford to places such as Barnsley and Harlow.
The services listed are full or part packing, where customers can choose to have everything packed, fragile items only, or just the kitchen packed. Packing is done the day before the move. Storage is offered for customers who need it. The business works for residential and commercial customers. Jobs begin with a survey visit where the team discusses requirements and options with each customer. Houghton Move Removals & Storage travels across the country for longer moves and covers Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire and Essex.
