Hughes-Stanton Removals

About Hughes-Stanton Removals

Hughes-Stanton Removals is a removal business based in Petersfield, run by Sam Hughes-Stanton. The business carries out household moves, storage moves and removals across the UK, from Scotland and Cornwall to local areas around Petersfield. Sam has a background in antiques and brings that care to moving household goods. His wife Niki runs the office and handles the paperwork.

The removal service starts with a phone call or email to discuss the move and agree a time. Sam can visit to assess the job and provide a quote, or discuss the move over the phone depending on how complex it is. On the day, the team arrives with transit blankets, trolleys, webbing and other materials to protect belongings. The business offers a full packing service and supplies boxes, which can be delivered before the moving date or brought on the day. Furniture is rebuilt and white goods are installed at the new location before the team leaves.

Hughes-Stanton Removals works across Petersfield, the surrounding villages and small towns including Midhurst, Winchester, Alton, Horndean, Haslemere and Alresford, with regular moves to London, Bristol and across the South of England. The business has a number of vehicles for small or large moves. Sam is personally involved in all moves and has trained the staff who work with him. The firm works closely with local storage firms to store goods when needed.
