About John Wales Removals & Storage Company - Melksham - Wiltshire

John Wales Removals & Storage Company is a family-run removals business based in Melksham, Wiltshire. The business was established in 1981 and has been run by Wayne Munday since 2003, when he took over from the founder John Wales. It operates from offices in Bowerhill and keeps vehicles and storage facilities at Shurnhold Farm Business Park in Melksham.

The business carries out house moves, office relocations, internal moves, single-item collections and furniture installations. It offers a packing service where teams pack and wrap belongings room by room, labelling boxes with their contents and marking breakable items clearly. Alternatively, customers can pack their own items and the business supplies boxes and wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes. Storage is available for household and office furniture, and archive storage is also offered.

John Wales Removals & Storage covers Melksham and a ten-mile radius around it, including Devizes, Westbury, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Corsham, Atworth, Calne, Bradford-on-Avon, Broughton Gifford, Semington and Seend. The business undertakes moves anywhere within the UK and has service partners who can arrange moves within Europe and further afield such as Australia. Before each removal, the business carries out a survey to assess requirements and discuss the job. Wardrobe boxes are brought on the day of the move for hanging clothes.
