About Kenneth Hayton Removals
Kenneth Hayton Removals is a family-owned removals and storage business based in Dumfries, founded in 1995. It carries out house moves, office relocations, international shipping and storage for households and businesses across Dumfries and Galloway. The business is now run by Neil Purdie, who has taken over from Kenneth Hayton.
The services listed are full packing, fragile-only packing and packing materials supplied for customers to pack themselves. Premium double-walled boxes, acid-free packing paper, bubble wrap, mattress covers and wardrobe boxes are used. The team arrives at the home for a survey before packing day, then packs each room methodically, labelling boxes by room and contents. On moving day, the loading team places heavier items first and protects fragile boxes. At the new address, items are unloaded and placed in the rooms marked on the boxes. An unpacking service is also offered, where the team unpacks every box and removes packing materials.
The business covers Dumfries and Galloway for removals and packing. Kenneth Hayton Removals has a fleet of Scania vehicles and is linked with over 80 removal companies globally for international shipping. The business is a member of the British Association of Removers and holds full insurance. It has traded since 1995 and has over 250 verified customer references.
