About Luxfords Of Weybridge
Luxfords of Weybridge is a removal company based in Surrey, providing home and office relocations across Surrey and South West London. The business has traded for nearly 150 years and is part of the Doree Bonner International network, which gives it access to branches nationwide and overseas partners for international moves.
Luxfords carries out domestic home removals, office and commercial relocations, and international removals with documentation and customs guidance. Services include full or part packing and unpacking, door-to-door delivery, supply of packing materials, car transportation and storage, crate making, archive and document storage, and concierge services. The business also handles specialist items such as grand pianos and works of fine art.
The company operates from a purpose-built removals warehouse and maintains a modern fleet of specialist vehicles, many with air ride and tail lift facilities. Every move begins with a detailed survey by an experienced removals surveyor to assess volume, access, packing requirements and timing. A written quotation follows, outlining the agreed services.
Luxfords provides containerised storage in secure facilities. Items are wrapped, inventoried and transported directly into storage, then held until redelivery is required. The business manages removals and storage together, so clients remain with one provider throughout. All operational staff hold NVQs in Customer Service and are CRB checked. Luxfords is a member of the British Association of Removers and holds BSI EN 12522 certification. The business won the BAR Domestic Mover of the Year Award in 2009.
