About Merseyside Movers & Storers Ltd
Merseyside Movers & Storers Ltd is a removal and storage business based in Kirkby, run by husband-and-wife team John and Marie. The company moves furniture and valuables for domestic and office relocations, from single items to full house moves across the UK and internationally. Services include house moves, office moves, piano removals, safe moves and storage. The business also transports heavy machinery and items that present a challenge to move manually.
The team covers Liverpool, Merseyside and the UK. Merseyside Movers & Storers was founded in the early 2000s and has a team of four staff members alongside John and Marie. Work begins with a visit to discuss the move, and items are wrapped in protective blankets and cardboard before being loaded. Furniture is placed in the rooms specified by the customer. The business operates a storage facility in Knowsley with containers that can be accessed with a couple of days' notice. Customers can load containers themselves or hire the team to pack and transport items. Storage containers are moved by forklift truck and held in a secure warehouse. Full insurance cover is available for stored items.
Pianos are dismantled, wrapped and protected before moving, and a specialist vehicle with a tail lift is used for piano moves. Sofa covers and mattress covers are provided as standard on all moves. The business holds public liability insurance cover for piano moves.
