Move in Matters

About Move in Matters

Move In Matters is a family-run removals and storage company based in Bicester. It carries out house moves, office relocations and business moves across Bicester, Banbury, Brackley and Buckingham, with packing, transport, dismantling and reassembly of furniture included. The business also offers containerised storage at its depot for items between moves or during refurbishment.

A house move starts with a survey to check access at both ends, parking and what is being moved, followed by a free itemised quote listing the crew, vehicle and travel time. Packing is optional and can cover the whole house or fragile items only, using boxes, tape, bubble wrap, packing paper and wardrobe boxes, with every box labelled by room. On moving day the crew protects furniture, loads carefully and places each item in the room chosen. Beds and wardrobes are taken apart and rebuilt at the new address. For office moves, the business dismantles and rebuilds office furniture, moves IT equipment, files and archives, and plans the move around working hours.

Storage is held in sealed containers inside a climate-controlled warehouse, protected by 24/7 CCTV surveillance and intruder alarms. A 10ft container suits a one or two-bedroom flat, and a 20ft container holds the contents of a three or four-bedroom house. Customers can access their unit at any time and retrieve items when ready. Move In Matters operates from Bicester.
