About Move It Men

Move It Men is a removals business based in Bolton, established since 2002 and run by owner Kelli Walker. The business carries out domestic and commercial removals across the North West and nationwide, including moves for elderly people, people with special needs, businesses, hospital departments and doctor's surgeries. Services include moving furniture, equipment, stock and machinery from pubs, universities, eBay sellers and other commercial clients.

Move It Men covers Bolton, Farnworth, Horwich, Kearsley, Westhoughton, Leigh, Manchester, Wigan and surrounding areas, with removals reaching as far as Scotland and Cornwall. The business operates three Luton vans (3.5t long-wheelbase Iveco models) and also uses 7.5t trucks for long-distance or large-scale moves. Packing materials such as blankets, bubble wrap, boxes and tape can be supplied. A discreet unliveried van is available on request for customers who feel anxious or nervous.

All staff are CRB checked, uniformed and trained in moving vulnerable or anxious people. Kelli Walker is a qualified special needs support worker and can act as an informal chaperone during moves. This personal attention, reassurance and support is included in the removals service. The business works with Safe Haven women's refuge and police and army families. Kelli offers advice and reassurance by phone at any time. The majority of customers are referrals or repeat business. Kelli has also worked in the postal service and is a qualified decorator.
