Move On Removals and Storage

About Move On Removals and Storage

Move On Removals and Storage is a family-run removals company based in Bristol, founded by Richard Batten and Joanne Kallevik. Joanne worked for more than 10 years for a charity supporting disabled people. Richard grew up watching his grandfather run a large haulage and removal firm in Addlestone.

The services listed are house removals, commercial removals, office removals, piano removals, a packing service, student removals and storage. The packing service boxes and seals personal items, and the business states that these are covered by its insurance policy. The values listed on the site are care for belongings, respect for privacy, safety and a can-do attitude.

The office is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm. A moving with care page and a complaints policy are linked from the about page.

Joanne listens to customers and plans each move around the individual, and Richard learned high standards from his grandfather. The about page also lists a moving with care page, and values such as safety first for everyone involved. The business describes its approach as built on proven processes and relationships, with the aim of solving challenges before they arise. Customers are asked about their schedule, property and expectations from the first contact until the final item is unloaded.
