About Orwell Removals & Storage
Orwell Removals & Storage is a family-run removals company based in Westerfield, Ipswich, covering the whole of Suffolk since 2005. The business moves homes and offices, handles commercial removals for businesses of every size, and carries out long-distance relocations across the UK. Services include man and van for smaller jobs and single items, specialist piano removals, professional packing and secure containerised storage at the Westerfield base.
Home removals cover packing, loading and transport with furniture placed exactly where customers want it. Office relocations are planned for out-of-hours moves to keep businesses running with minimal downtime. Commercial removals move stock, equipment and furniture using the modern Euro 6 fleet. The packing service wraps fragile items individually, labels every box and can supply removal-grade boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper and wardrobe cartons for customers who prefer to pack themselves. Unpacking and box removal at the new address are available on request.
Every move begins with a free survey for larger jobs, followed by a clear quote. Floors and doorways are protected, and furniture is wrapped properly. The business covers Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Felixstowe, Lowestoft, Woodbridge, Stowmarket, Sudbury, Newmarket, Haverhill, Beccles, Aldeburgh, Framlingham, Hadleigh, Needham Market, Saxmundham and Southwold. All moves are fully covered with goods-in-transit and public liability protection through Poundgates insurance broker. The trained, uniformed team handles each move from the first call to the last box.
