Osbornes Removals

About Osbornes Removals

Osbornes Removals is a family-run removal business based in Sale, Manchester, established in 1920. It carries out house removals, office removals and storage services across Manchester and the UK. The business moves homes of all sizes, from small flats to large properties, and also relocates offices and businesses.

Services include full packing, breakables packing, part packing, export packing and unpacking. Packing materials such as bubble wrap, packing paper and packing tape are available for sale or rental. Fragile items including china, glassware, ornaments, mirrors, pictures and lamps are packed in double-walled boxes using wrapping paper, bubble wrap, poly chips and acid-free tissue paper. The business can pack all effects using purpose-made materials, or customers can pack non-breakable items themselves while Osbornes packs breakables. Unpacking is offered as an additional service, with boxes and wrapping removed afterwards.

The business covers Altrincham, Manchester, Salford, Stockport, Wilmslow, Sale, Stretford and Cheshire. A surveyor visits to assess needs and create a moving plan before a free quote is provided. Osbornes Removals is a member of the British Association of Removers with membership number 0016. The business holds the Quality Standard awarded to Furniture Removers under BS EN 12522 and has received the merit award for Domestic Mover of the Year. Staff are full-time and trained in house moving techniques, and all vehicles are fully equipped and maintained.
