About Patchett's
Patchett's is a family-run removal and storage business based in Havering. It provides house removals, office removals and storage for customers across Essex, with local, national and continental relocation services available.
Patchett's was established over 50 years ago and is now run by Gavin Patchett, the third generation of the family. The business operates from a depot in Cranham. Staff are uniformed, polite and courteous. Removals are carried out efficiently with minimum disruption. The business holds full insurance cover.
The company traces its origins to 1929, when brothers Oswald and William Patchett opened a grocery store in Upminster. After the war, a greengrocery department was added. William later departed to Cornwall and Oswald, together with son Barrie, started Patchett's Transport. This transport business grew and eventually became the removal and storage company it is today.
