About Philip Marks Removals (Kent)
Philip Marks Removals is a family-run removals business based in Maidstone. It has been trading since 2002 and carries out household removals, office relocations, local and long-distance moves across Kent. The services listed are dismantling and reassembly of furniture, packing (full packing, fragile packing or specific items), furniture export wrapping, and storage.
The business covers Kent and travels to other parts of the country for longer moves. A visit to the customer's home forms the start of each job, where the team measures up and discusses any concerns. A formal written quote follows, which includes indemnity insurance for goods in storage and transport. Packing materials are delivered if customers choose to pack themselves. Large furniture such as wardrobes, beds and desks is dismantled where needed, and legs are often removed from dining tables and feet from sofas. Furniture is protected on the lorry with transit blankets during local moves, or wrapped in bubble blanket for storage or export. The business offers secure storage in industry-standard containers measuring 5 feet by 7 feet by 7.5 feet tall, rented at £16.80 per week including indemnity insurance. Philip Marks Removals has been dismantling and reassembling furniture for 20 years. Smaller items are packed into twin-walled cartons.
