About Robinsons Relocation
Robinsons Relocation is a family-owned removals business based in Basingstoke. It moves households, families and businesses across the UK, throughout Europe and internationally. Services include UK home removals, European removals, international removals, corporate relocation, secure storage, flexible self-storage, professional packing and specialist handling.
The business has traded since 1895, when Alfred Robinson started with a horse and cart. Today it is run by Anthony and Philippa, great-great-grandchildren of Alfred. Robinsons operates from locations in Abingdon, Basingstoke and Redditch, with branches across the UK covering areas including Aldershot, Alton, Andover, Ascot, Bracknell, Farnborough, Farnham, Fleet, Guildford, Hook, Hungerford, London, Newbury, Winchester and surrounding towns.
Each move is assigned a dedicated Move Manager who guides customers through every stage. A free home survey begins the process, followed by packing using heavy-duty boxes, bubble wrap, purpose-made wooden cases, soft moving blankets and card protectors. Items can be fully packed or breakables-only packed, or customers can pack some items themselves. Removals liability protection is available to cover damage in rare accidents.
Robinsons Relocation is a member of the British Association of Removers and holds memberships with FIDI, FAIM and EuRA. The business also offers specialist shipping for antique and reproduction furniture, with regular worldwide packing and shipping services and dedicated distribution centres.
