About Rock Steady Removals
Rock Steady Removals is a family-run removal business based in Midsomer Norton. It carries out house moves and business relocations across Bristol and the Southwest, and also offers a nationwide service. The business uses large Mercedes Sprinter 3.5 tonne Luton vans with hydraulic tail lifts, each with a load space of 95 square feet. Sack trucks, ratchets and straps are carried on the vans, and packing tape, bubble wrap and packing paper are available.
Rock Steady Removals was established in 2016 by George Wilcock. The team includes Hannah Coughlan as Operations Head, drivers Glyn Baber and Daniel Gitsham, and additional crew members. The business began with a single van called Bertha serving the Bristol and Bath area, then expanded across the Southwest before bringing on two further vans, Roxy and Blue, to offer nationwide services.
The services listed are house moves, business removals, furniture assembly for beds, wardrobes and flatpack items, and a disposal service for unwanted items and clutter. A full packing service is offered, with sturdy moving boxes supplied. Furniture can be disassembled and reassembled at customers' homes. Rock Steady Removals holds goods in transit insurance of up to £10,000 to protect customers' belongings. The business also created Rock Steady Makes It as a standalone furniture assembly service alongside its general house moves.
