About Roy Jacks Removals Ltd

Roy Jacks Removals Ltd is a family-run removals and storage business based in Widnes, established in 1965. The company provides house removals, commercial removals, international removals and specialist moves across the North West. Services include packing and shipping, and the business supplies cardboard boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap and tape at discounted rates.

Roy Jacks Removals operates a purpose-built warehouse with containerised storage for household, business and student storage. The facility holds over 300 storage containers and is monitored by 24/7 alarm and CCTV systems linked to emergency services. Items placed in containers are recorded on itemised inventories with a copy given to the client, and each container has a unique ID for tracing in the system. The removal teams pack containers on site, and containers are transported by purpose-built trucks and forklift equipment into the secure facility.

The business covers Cheshire, Widnes and the North West, and also handles international export and shipping to destinations including the USA and Dubai. A video survey service allows customers to receive a moving quotation from home using a smart device camera. Roy Jacks Removals was founded by Roy and Rita. Their son Gary later joined and invested in the purpose-built storage facility. Gary's sons Ryan and Alex run the company and have expanded into confidential shredding and international removals.
