About The Dixon Line
The Dixon Line is a family-run removals business based in Belfast. It carries out domestic and commercial removals, office relocations, employee relocation services, and art and antique transport across Northern Ireland, the UK and worldwide. The business also offers storage facilities and packing materials.
The Dixon Line was established in 1966 by Holt Dixon Senior and his son Jim. It is now run by Jim Dixon and his three sons, Alan, Leslie and Holt. The team visits premises to measure and provide a quotation, and can supply packing materials or boxes, paper and tape for customers to pack themselves. Furniture is dismantled, transported and reassembled at the new address, positioned in rooms as directed. Fine art and antiques are handled with care during moves. Packing and unpacking services are available on request.
The business covers Belfast, Northern Ireland and the UK, with a weekly service to and from the UK. It also provides a worldwide service through a network of dedicated movers. Storage is available in purpose-built facilities. The Dixon Line specialises in art handling, fine art removals, antique removals, removals for art galleries and museums, and antique storage. It serves art galleries, fine art auctioneers, museums, interior designers and private art collectors. Free quotations are offered for all services.
