About The Removal Company
The Removal Company is an independent removal and storage business based in Newton Abbot and Torquay. It carries out residential and commercial removals, provides storage services, packing services and clearance work for households and small businesses. The business moves customers across Teignbridge, Torbay, South Hams and further afield to Exeter and Plymouth.
The fleet comprises vehicles of different sizes and weight allowances. Each vehicle is supplied with heavy duty furniture blankets, webbing to secure belongings, sack trucks, piano trucks, lifting suction handles, boxes and tape. Packing materials including boxes, bubblewrap, wrapping paper and wardrobe boxes are provided. The business offers a full packing service for fragile items such as china, glassware and ornaments, with all boxes labelled so contents reach the correct room at the delivery address.
Storage is held in a large warehouse with alarmed security, CCTV and electric gate entry. Goods are stored in wooden containers of 250 cubic feet in volume, and customers pay only for the containers they use. The staff work in uniform. The Removal Company provides insurance cover of up to £100,000 per customer, which can be increased on request. Free quotations and advice are available.
