About Van Handyman
Van Handyman is a commercial man and van business based in Alton, run by Les. It moves office equipment, artwork, sculptures, musical equipment and visual merchandising displays for businesses across London and surrounding areas. The firm transports large items for graphic installations to events and exhibitions, and moves back-line equipment for musicians around the country and Europe.
Services listed include moving heavy and delicate office equipment such as photocopiers, with mechanical stair climbers used where required. Artwork and sculptures are moved, including work at the University of the Arts, London. Visual merchandising campaigns are transported to department stores and beauty product retailers. The business is a registered waste carrier and can dispose of waste packaging and materials.
Van Handyman has traded since 2007. Work begins with an assessment of each item to determine the appropriate means of transport. Mechanical stair climbers and barrows are used for heavy items. The business covers London and surrounding areas, and will consider requests from other locations. Goods in transit insurance is held up to a value of £50,000, with higher cover available on request.
