About White & Company Removals Dunfermline
White & Company Removals is a removals and storage business based in Dunfermline. It has traded since 1871 and is one of the largest privately owned removals companies in the UK, with a fleet of over 240 vehicles, more than 450 staff and 19 locations across the country. The Dunfermline branch handles domestic and commercial moves locally, nationally and internationally, including European and overseas removals and corporate relocation.
Services include a free home survey conducted in person or by video call, during which a surveyor notes items to be transported and provides an itemised quote. The business offers professional packing using breathable bubble wrap and double-lined cardboard boxes. Secure storage is available in personal dedicated containers at warehouse facilities, with rental charged at £6.00 plus VAT per container per week, and the first four weeks free. A declutter service places surplus possessions into storage containers for £25.00 plus VAT per container.
White & Company covers Dunfermline, Edinburgh, coastal towns and the surrounding areas. Containers are brought to the home and sealed before being placed in a warehouse ready for delivery. Each container comes supplied with five cartons, tape and packing paper. The business is a founder member of the British Association of Removers and holds BAR membership. MoveProtect liability insurance is available, complying with FCA regulations and based on declared item values.
