About White & Company Southampton
White & Company Southampton is one of the UK's largest privately owned removals and storage companies, based in Hedge End. Since 1871, it has moved households and businesses across the UK, Europe and worldwide. The business manages over 50,000 moves per year and operates 19 locations across the UK, including the Channel Islands, plus an office in Spain.
White & Company carries out domestic house removals, European removals, international removals and corporate relocation. It owns and operates warehouse facilities in 19 locations throughout the United Kingdom, providing secure, clean and dry containerised storage in personal dedicated storage containers. The business also offers a declutter service using storage containers, with the first four weeks of warehouse rental free. Packing is done by fully trained removals teams using special breathable bubble wrap and double-lined cardboard boxes. A free survey is conducted in person or by video to establish the volume of effects being transported, and an itemised quote follows.
The business employs more than 450 fully trained staff and owns over 240 fully owned vehicles. All staff are employed in-house rather than sub-contracted. White & Company is a founder member of the British Association of Removers, FIDI and OMNI.
