Whites Removals Ltd

About Whites Removals Ltd

Whites Removals Ltd is a removal company in Birmingham, founded in 1898 by John Frederick White, who started solo with a horse drawn cart in Nechells. It has carried out removals in Birmingham, the West Midlands and throughout the UK since then, and the site gives its history over more than 120 years.

By the 1950s the company had outgrown its premises and needed more storage space, so it moved to the Great Lister Street premises where it is still based. Edward White's only child Margaret and her husband William Kitchen inherited the business next.

The services are residential and commercial removals, domestic and business storage, national house moves from the Birmingham area to anywhere in the UK, and local property moves between Birmingham houses. Home removals are offered to residents in Birmingham and throughout the UK. Commercial removals help businesses move premises. Containerised storage is secured and monitored, and is available for temporary or long term stays.

The business plans, arranges, lifts and moves for each residential or commercial job, and videos about the company are on its website. The company has moved thousands of clients over its decades in the industry, and it offers a broad variety of removal services for both residential and commercial moves.
