About Woollcott Removals And Storage
Woollcott Removals and Storage is a removals business based in Wolverhampton, near Great Wyrley and Cheslyn Hay. It carries out domestic and commercial removals for local, regional and national moves, and it operates a large storage facility from its head office on the outskirts of Wolverhampton close to the M6 and M54 motorway networks.
The business was founded in 1943 by Frank Woollcott, who began as a livestock haulier and expanded into household removals. In 1991, Robin and Trevor took over the company and moved to larger premises at Four Ashes in 1998 to accommodate growing demand for storage. In 2011, Bryan Grant and Craig Payne, both long-serving members of staff, took over the running of the business. Bryan has 30 years of experience in the removals industry and now manages the office. Craig has over 26 years of experience and remains hands-on, working from the initial survey through moving day.
Woollcott Removals moves furniture and household goods using vans, with carpets and blankets protecting items during transit. Wardrobes are emptied into hanging wardrobe boxes, and fitted covers protect corner suites and televisions. The business supplies free quotes and serves customers across the West Midlands and throughout the UK. Storage is available at the Four Ashes facility for customers needing to keep items between moves.
