About Wotton Of Tiverton

Wotton of Tiverton is a family-run removals business based in Tiverton, Devon. David and Iris Wotton have run the company for nearly 40 years, and Alex Wotton is now central to operations. The business carries out house moves, flat moves and removals of specialist items across the UK and internationally, using a modern fleet of purpose-built removal vans, trailers and trucks.

Services include full packing or box supply, secure storage in two warehouses that are alarmed and monitored 24/7, and self-storage rooms and containers from 25 square feet to 160 square feet or more. The business moves fine art, antiques, upright and grand pianos, statues and garden features, cars and farm machinery. Overseas removals are offered with knowledge of customs paperwork and international vehicle regulations. For farming and equestrian properties, the business works with a network of contacts and partners regarding livestock and machinery moves.

Wotton of Tiverton covers the entire United Kingdom, from Devon to London, Edinburgh to Penzance and the Shetland Isles to Northern Ireland, and operates across Europe. The business is certified by the British Association of Removers and holds the European Standard BSEN 12522 for household removals. It is Trading Standards accredited. Staff are trained to handle all types of moves, and the business has been trading since its foundation as a sole trader, partnership and now a limited company.
