YourVans was built by Syed Miah, who has more than 10 years in removals, its website says. It moves homes and offices across Newcastle, Tyne & Wear and County Durham, including halls, flat shares and end-of-term student moves. Single items, pianos, packing materials, storage and dismantling are listed, and the site mentions goods in transit cover.
About YourVans
YourVans is a removal company based in Jarrow, North East England, founded by Syed Miah. The business carries out home removals, furniture removals, office removals, student removals and storage. It serves Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, South Shields and beyond across the North East, operating seven days a week from 8am to 8pm.
Home removals start with a pre-move consultation where an experienced consultant visits the property to assess the move, discuss access, highlight potential complications and recommend packing materials, bubble wrap and dismantling services. The business quotes a fixed price online in about two minutes based on inventory, distance and access at both addresses. Furniture is blanket-wrapped and labelled as it is loaded. The price quoted is the price paid on moving day, with additions only if the customer changes what is being moved, the addresses or the services chosen.
YourVans operates its own fleet of man and vans, Luton vans and large lorries, with the right vehicle selected automatically based on inventory. The same crew that loads items also delivers them. Storage is collected from the door, wrapped, stored for a fortnight or longer, then returned as one job with one price. Packing, furniture dismantling and reassembly are available on request.
Every booking includes £50,000 goods-in-transit cover as standard. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the move, and dates can be changed free of charge up to 24 hours before. Syed Miah has over ten years of experience in the removals industry.
